Carole Frandsen St. Mark is president of Growth Management, a business development and strategic management company in Stamford, Connecticut. Previously, she served as president and CEO of Pitney Bowes Business Services, from which she retired in 1997 after a 17-year career there, having worked her way up the ladder from director of human resource development. Along the way, she served as president of the Logistics Systems and Business Services Group. St. Mark was the first woman to become a member of the corporate management committee, which formulates overall policies and strategies for Pitney Bowes, the world’s leading provider of mailstream solutions. With a reputation as an accomplished leader, she is an articulate spokesperson and is often in demand to speak on career planning for women. Among her achievements at Pitney Bowes was the creation of a very successful services business called Pitney Bowes Management Services. St. Mark holds an MBA from Pace University and graduated from the Advanced Management Program at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
