Greg Brown is chair and chief executive officer of Motorola Solutions. He has served more than 14 years as CEO of Motorola and Motorola Solutions. Since the inception of Motorola Solutions, under Brown’s tenure, total shareholder return is just under 700 percent. Today, this 93-year-old global company is the leader in land mobile radio communications, video security and access control, and command center software.
Brown has served on the boards of Xerox, Cisco Systems, RR Donnelley, and Micromuse, where he was chair and CEO. He has served as chair of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and chair of the Rutgers University Board of Governors. He is chair of the Committee on Intercollegiate Athletics at Rutgers and is the Navy SEAL Foundation Midwest event chair.
Brown earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and an honorary doctorate in humane letters from Rutgers.
