Alumni chartered group leaders play a vital role in bringing our brand to life. Using the university’s name, identifying marks, and logos consistently and appropriately maintains a strong image for Rutgers.

To that end, Rutgers alumni marks can be used in alignment with the standards in the Rutgers University Alumni Association Visual Identity Manual.

Custom Chartered Group Marks

Your group’s custom mark will automatically be included when sending emails through our office. To request your group’s custom marks, contact your staff partner or email volunteer@ruf.rutgers.edu.

Virtual Backgrounds

Use these images as virtual backgrounds in your videoconferencing app or as wallpapers for your computer or smart device.

Instructions

  1. Download a virtual background.
  2. Refer to your videoconferencing app for instructions on how to use the chosen virtual background.

    Zoom
    Remember to uncheck the “Mirror my video” box option under Video Settings.

    Webex
    Webex defaults the self-view video to mirror image; however, others will see you and the background correctly. If you wish, you can turn off the mirror view in your self-video.

    Skype
    Skype defaults your self-view video to mirror image; however, others will see you and the background correctly.
