Leadership Sessions and Training Opportunities
Alumni leaders can participate in the RUAA’s leadership sessions that are custom-created based on your feedback. The goal of this ongoing series is to help support alumni leaders to maintain and grow healthy charter groups by providing tools and resources, fostering new program ideas, and sharing best practices with fellow alumni.
The RUAA Alumni Leaders Forum series invites alumni volunteer leaders to learn, connect with each other, and share ideas around the common purpose of building Rutgers pride and support. These programs enable alumni to discuss philanthropy, leadership, events, student engagement, volunteer management, and more. The content is curated specifically to support and recognize alumni leaders as they maintain and grow healthy groups, provide tools and resources, foster new program ideas, and share best practices. Past programs are archived here for your on-demand viewing and convenience.
Event Best Practices (December 8, 2021) – This session will focus on sharing event best practices as we emerge from fully virtual programming to a balance of virtual and in-person programming that fosters connections, offers convenience, and safely and effectively connects more alumni to each other and to Rutgers than ever before.
Inclusive Leadership (June 16, 2021) – This session will focus on fostering a culture of inclusivity within alumni networks, organizational practices, programs, and beyond.
Philanthropy (March 10, 2021) – This session will focus on the impact of philanthropy, Scarlet Promise Grants, and the role of alumni volunteer leaders in Rutgers Giving Day.
