Chair Yoga with Emily Pareti SAS’14
Join Emily Pareti SAS’14, a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, for a midday chair yoga class. The class will provide a mind-body-soul connection and will work on releasing pain and tension in the muscles and joints. Pareti will help you open and stretch your shoulders, back, neck, hips, legs, and more. At the end of class, you will feel rejuvenated and refreshed for the beginning of summer. Chair yoga is for everyone, no prior yoga experience is needed.
Pareti graduated from Rutgers with a bachelor’s degree in communications and sociology. She has been practicing yoga for eight years, has been teaching for three years, and is certified in vinyasa flow, aerial yoga, and reiki level 1. Pareti teaches at Honor Yoga North Brunswick and partners with different healers at one-day and multiday retreats. She has taught and facilitated yoga retreats in Greece, Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania and enjoys helping others find healing (physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual) through yoga. She has experienced the healing power of yoga during her own journey as a two-time cancer survivor.
