Join Rutgers Gardens’ manager of horticulture, Monica McLaughlin CC’05, and horticulturist Stacy Approvato SEBS’18 as they walk you through how to create and maintain your very own succulent garden. Succulents are plants that store water in their leaves, such as jade plants, hens and chicks, and aloe. Registrants are encouraged to pot succulents along with McLaughlin and Approvato. You can find succulent plants at the Rutgers Gardens Market or at your local nursery and garden center.
