Abraham Lincoln’s leadership steered the nation through the crisis of Civil War and led to the preservation of the union, the liberation of the enslaved, and the perpetuation of democracy. We will examine his personality and approach to leadership to understand what made him successful. In doing so, perhaps we will learn some lessons in leadership that we can apply in our own lives.
