Glee Club Alumni Barbecue

Greetings, Rutgers University Glee Club Alumni:

As a sign of a hoped-for return to pre-covid normalcy the Rutgers University Glee Club Alumni Association is pleased to announce the return of the alumni barbecue, last held in August of 2019 but not held in 2020 because of the pandemic. It will be held this year on Sunday, August 22, from 2:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the Deiner Pavilion next to the Campbell river dorm on George Street and overlooking the “Old Raritan.” The barbecue has been a great time for alumni to reconnect, enjoy outdoor singing, and to meet the undergraduate members of the glee club. Typical barbecue food and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, and alumni are free to bring their own libations.

Pre-registration is required in keeping with covid protocol at the university for contact tracing purposes.

As this will be an outdoor event and unless RU policies change by the time of the barbecue masking for covid purposes will be optional.

We look forward to a great time that day in preparation for the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the founding of the Rutgers University Glee Club.
