Imposter syndrome is defined as doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud. Those affected by it are often high-achieving people who find it difficult to accept their accomplishments. They may question whether they are deserving of praise and feel like they don’t belong. Masiel Torres SCI’17 will provide tips on how to combat imposter syndrome and own the space you’ve worked hard to reach.

Torres, the social media and public relations manager at L’Oréal, oversees the Vichy brand’s advocacy strategy, owned and paid social content strategy, and lead PR agency management. She previously worked for OLIVER agency on the social medial strategies for a range of Unilever brands and created social media content for Bloomberg.
