Day 1: Tuesday, August 16, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Classroom education on fisheries management, environmental science, fish biology and tagging, and fishing techniques. Meets at the RCE of Ocean County (1623 Whitesville Road, Toms River, NJ 08755).
Day 2: Wednesday, August 17, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Field trip to Barnegat Light, NJ that will include a dock tour of the Viking Village commercial fishing dock and visiting the Barnegat Lighthouse State Park. Bus transportation is available from the RCE of Ocean County.
Day 3: Thursday, August 18, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Fishing trip aboard the “Bingo” fishing boat from Leonardo, NJ (https://bingosportfishing.com/). Bus transportation is available from the RCE of Ocean County.
