
Reflections on Judicial Independence after 21 Years on the Supreme Court of New Jersey with the Hon. Jaynee LaVecchia NLAW’79
On Thursday, October 7, from 6-7 p.m.., the Rutgers School of Law-Newark Alumni Association will present the 36th Annual Chief Justice Joseph Weintraub lecture, delivered by Hon. Jaynee LaVecchia RLAW’79, Associate Justice, Supreme Court of New Jersey, entitled “Reflections on Judicial Independence After Twenty-One Years on the Supreme Court of New Jersey.” This will be a hybrid event. We especially welcome your attendance in person in the newly refurbished Baker Courtroom, where you can greet the justices, former justices, judges and members of the Rutgers School of Law–Newark Alumni Association, who will be attending in person. This signature lecture represents an excellent opportunity to join with the hierarchy of this state’s judiciary, who will be present either in person or via livestream.
