About the Honors College
Established in 1997, the Honors College at Rutgers–Camden is a community of 500 students drawn from all three undergraduate schools on campus: the College of Arts and Sciences, the School of Business, and the School of Nursing. It represents an investment in those whom the university expects to be its strongest students, whether they arrive at Rutgers at the start of college, join us after a year here, or transfer from another institution. Our aims are to support academic achievement, encourage engagement in campus life and in larger communities, and create a learning environment in which students feel at home. The university’s commitment to Honors College students includes scholarship opportunities, small seminar experiences, professional advising, dedicated space at 319 Cooper Street, and experiential learning grants.
