SEBS Virtual Science Cafe: Rutgers Climate Action Plan: Aiming for Carbon Neutrality

Did you know that Rutgers has committed to carbon neutrality by 2040? In September, President Holloway announced that the leadership team of the President’s Task Force on Carbon Neutrality and Climate Resilience will work with the support of the Office of University Strategy and lead the development of implementation plans for university climate action, create the systems to hold Rutgers accountable for its progress, and develop a permanent Office of Climate Action at Rutgers. This Café will be a chance to hear a summary of the Climate Action Plan and ask questions about how Rutgers will be moving forward with implementation.

Dr. Angela Oberg GSNB’18, Assistant Teaching Professor in the Department of Human Ecology, will present on this topic.
