Richard Rauscher is the Executive Vice-President of Miva, Inc. a leading e-commerce SaaS company. Richard has been working with Internet technologies since 1987 and has spent most of his career in healthcare and academia. His positions include Chief Information Officer of Karmanos Cancer Center in Detroit, Information Security Officer for Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa and the Director of Research Informatics for Penn State in Hershey, PA. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers College, his master’s from the University of South Florida and his doctorate from Penn State (all in Computer Science). In his spare time, he teaches subjects such as quantum computing in the USF Computer Science Department. He currently lives in Ormond Beach, Florida with his wife Laura, and due to Covid19, his college-aged children.
