Email Rutgers Alumni & Donors

What is Marketo?

Marketo is marketing software used to communicate via mass email with Rutgers alumni and donors.

Who can use Marketo?

Marketo allows Rutgers University Foundation staff members, RUAA staff members, and trained university partners (academic schools and colleges) to create and send branded and data-safe communications directly to alumni and donors about Rutgers connections most meaningful to them. Rutgers alumni clubs and organizations do not have direct access but can request emails to be sent through the platform by the Rutgers alumni engagement team.

How do I get started?

Foundation and University Staff

To gain access to Marketo, Rutgers University Foundation and university staff must complete Marketo training, which includes completing a self-paced training module, an in-person training session, and practice exercises, before they receive full access to the tool. By following these steps you can create, edit, test, approve, and send electronic communications. Foundation and university staff can also request an email build from the Foundation Strategic Advancement Communications team. Click on the Request an Email button below.
