Rutgers Newark Alumni Juneteenth Celebration

The Rutgers Newark Alumni Juneteenth Celebration is a festive, family-friendly barbeque honoring the legacy of Juneteenth while promoting alumni engagement and community building. The event is a collaboration between the Rutgers Newark Alumni Association (RNAA), the School of Public Affairs and Administration Alumni Network (SPAAAN), and the Black Organization of Students Alumni Association (BOSAA). Guests will enjoy music from a live DJ, delicious food, kid-friendly games, and entertainment throughout the afternoon. 

This event aims to celebrate the cultural significance of Juneteenth, reconnect Rutgers Newark alumni across generations and disciplines, and provide an inclusive space for families, friends, and community members to gather and build lasting connections. All are invited, including Rutgers Newark alumni, their families, current students, faculty, staff, and members of the Newark community.
